![]() Amenhotep IV was a very special person the the Egyptian community. He was considered one of the most valuable, and smartest pharaohs that there ever was. He impacted the people of Egypt by bringing new ideas in a smart way to help bring new inventions to the Egyptians. A major development in ancient Egypt was
the trade routes. These trade routes provided
efficient ways for people to get around to trade.
This was a major development because it was the
first time when people knew where they were going,
and had a visual of where the trading spots were.
Question: What major change, to ancient Egypt, Amenhotep IV make?
Answer:
Amenhotep IV established a new religion that believed there is one god; the sun god Aten. Amenhotep IV took the throne. His family had been ruling Egypt for nearly two hundred years and established a huge empire dominating Palestine, Phoenicia, and Nubia. Also, he built a new temple to worship the new sun god; Aten. Finally, he brought so many ideas to the table in Egypt, and built a new, valuable city for all to use in ancient Egypt.
Question: What affect did it have on the civilization?
Answer:
The city that Amenhotep IV created brought trade to the Egyptians, and more wealth for their family's because the city brought great value for survival. Also, the new religion that he created brought great power to the development of ancient Egypt. To add on, this religion brought new inventions, and new beliefs in the Egyptian community.
Question: Why was the Middle Kingdom period a "golden age" for Egypt?
Answer:
The Middle Kingdom period was the "golden age" for Egypt because during this time, the population of people increased greatly. Also, during this time, Egypt became a lot more wealthy, and the size of its geography got larger. Additionally, the Middle Kingdom is considered the "golden age" due to is rich literary, architectural and scientific legacy that it had. Lastly, it was a time of great architecture, arts, and literature. The capital was changed from Memphis to Thebes and a new dynasty arrived.
Question: Why can the exchange of "envoys" be considered a major development in ancient Egypt?
Answer:
To help mentor the ancient Egyptian government. The Kings sent envoys to visit peoples country's which was a big honor to the people. People exercised direct control by sending envoys to inspect them. Also, when two groups of empires were going to war, the envoys separated them, and gave them a different perspective on questions that they might have.

Answer:
The ancient Egyptians who built the pyramids moved massive stone blocks across the desert by wetting the sand in front of a contraption built to pull the heavy objects, according to a new study. After the first level of blocks are in place, the workers build ramps of mud brick, limestone chips, and clay. Then, workers would drag the large stones up the ramps to build the next level of the pyramid. To add on, most people started building pyramids when the flooding season began because the flooding supported sturdy mud, which was better to build with.

The Egyptians invented and used many basic machines, such as the ramp and the lever, to aid construction processes using math. Also, the geometry and math that the Egyptians used to tell when flooding season was going to happen was very important. They used angles to figure out when the best time to build was. To add on, the ancient Egyptians developed high levels of mathematical skills to enable them to build their pyramids and temples with remarkably simple tools.
